The Cosmetics, Health and Skin Care industries have been my career focus for over 25 years.
In the 1980’s I worked as Guest and Corporate Makeup Artist for numerous major, international cosmetic companies. During this time, I learned to ‘read’ faces- work with bone structure and coloring- but more important, learned to look deep within each woman; into her personality, her insecurities, her self-esteem- or lack thereof.
It was during this time I learned about the Magic that is Woman… and how women hide, undermine and throw away their Magic, accepting instead a shallow, false and rigid view of themselves, dictated to them by society. – A society disdainful of Aging. The excitement and challenge of the film and TV industries soon lured me- and I began providing makeup services for film and TV productions, major fashion shows and TV news teams. During this time, I worked with some of the ‘most beautiful’ women in the world and apprenticed with some of the most successful, respected and critically acclaimed Makeup Artists in the industry. It was here I learned that without a strong and vibrant inner self, the outer physical shell means nothing.
After this realization, I longed to apply my skills in deeper, more meaningful ways and went on to study restorative/corrective makeup procedures to assist burn and scar patients. While working on these burned, scarred faces, I discovered more Beauty than I had ever encountered before. These clients taught me much, not only about makeup- but about Life. Returning to school in 1991, I received my Aesthetics licensing and certification in Color Analysis. It was during this time; I became aware of the toxic ingredients routinely used in most grooming products. I devoted myself to learning about Holistic skin care and natural product formulation. It became my mission to educate women- and men- about non-toxic grooming, and the crucial role the skin plays in overall health.
Throughout the years
Throughout the years I’ve crossed paths with thousands of women who are feeling the effects of Menopause in their own lives: the depression of weight gain, stress of trying to live up to who and what they were in their younger days– the pressure of living in a Youth Oriented culture- yet aging noticeably. Seeing this, I turned my skills to the field of Menopausal skin care and beauty.
I’ve authored several books and hundreds of articles on the topic of Menopause and Menopausal health and beauty, have provided seminars on the subject of True Beauty for women of all ages, and now cohost an internationally syndicated radio show called ‘Magnificent Menopause & Beyond. It matters greatly to me that women be shown a healthier, more loving way to be the best they can be – especially as they move through the Menopause process. I can’t wait to assist you in making your Menopause journey ‘The Change- for the Better!

Throughout the years of experience, I believe I am competent enough to assist you with this problem. With my help, you will overcome all the difficulties and start living your life again. Menopause can disturb your entire life and make you feel either anxious or depressed. It usually happens in your 40s or 50s, but the average age is 51 in the U.S. Considering this is a biological process, many women have a hard time dealing with it. Fortunately, there are many treatments you can experience to improve your health. Women have to realize that this is a beginning of a new age, where they are more mature than before. In this case, they need to pay more attention to their body and their skin. This condition requires extra care.
When the period stops, women tend to feel old, but that’s not true. In this case, you are continuing with your life, but you should pay attention to your diet, skin care, and daily routine. Many women avoid going to the doctor, but in this case, you are taking a lot of responsibilities and risking your health. You can always read online experiences of other women, but you should keep up with the regular visits with your doctor, for possible prevention and any medical concerns. Preventive health care as you age is crucial for your condition. It may include screening tests such as colonoscopy, mammography, and triglyceride.
Your doctor may include additional tests, such as thyroid testing and breast and pelvic exam. If you perform these tests, then you may prevent many dangerous conditions, like cancer of the uterus.
